Ive been "plugging away" at alot of different subjects since i was a wee child, probably 6-12 I was a lego expert, my brother and I. I learned a certain set of skills that way, probably in some way im still using the neurological connections to build 3D models. Ive just been show so many things, I cant do anything but sit at a computer and explore possibilities, but that box of legos has IK joints and animation sequences, bump maps...I would love to teach, I can teach you to use Unity, UDK, Photoshop, Daz Studio, Zbrush, Audacity, After Effects..that list goes on. But im not going to go back to school for another 4 years to get some certificate of teachability. I want a career, I want a company to join forces with, similar minds different ideas. The media world is exploding.
